A fourth line will focus on the use of inclusive and participatory methodologies in disability research.<\/p>\n<h3>L1. Political participation<\/h3>\n<p>Specific objectives:<\/p>\n<p>a) Identify the barriers and facilitators faced by persons with disabilities and organization of persons with disabilities to participate in public decision-making<br \/>\nb) Analyze how organizations of persons with disabilities in Chile participate in political life and what strategies they use to influence public decision-making<br \/>\nc) Develop evidence-based guidelines to improve the participation of persons with disabilities in political life<\/p>\n<h3>L2. Access to justice<\/h3>\n<p>Specific objectives:<\/p>\n<p>a) Identify the barriers and facilitators faced by persons with disabilities regarding access to justice<br \/>\nb) Analyze strategies developed by persons with disabilities and their allies regarding access to justice<br \/>\nc) Develop evidence-based guidelines to improve the access of persons with disabilities to justice<\/p>\n<h3>L3. Access to mental health<\/h3>\n<p>Specific objectives:<\/p>\n<p>a) Identify the barriers and facilitators in access to mental health by persons with disabilities<br \/>\nb) Analyze the strategies of persons with disabilities in navigating mental health services and responding to institutional barriers<br \/>\nc) Develop evidence-based guidelines to enhance institutional and clinical practices in mental health for persons with disabilities<\/p>\n<h3>L4. Inclusive and participatory methodologies<\/h3>\n<p>Specific objectives:<\/p>\n<p>a) Identify the barriers and facilitators to the implementation of inclusive and participatory methodologies in disability research<br \/>\nb) Analyze existing techniques and practices that support the participation of persons with disabilities in disability research processes<br \/>\nc) Develop evidence-based guidelines to strengthen the application of inclusive and participatory methodologies in disability research<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We will address how persons with disability construct and negotiates citizenship in the areas of: L1. political participation, L2. access to justice, and L3. access to mental health.
