Being part of the Nucleus during 2024 has been an immensely enriching experience for my professional development. I recently participated in the roundtable “Experiences of Persons with Disabilities” at the First Congress on Disability and Citizenship, where I presented my thesis project, conducted within the Nucleus, titled “Virtual Interactions and Physical Disability: A Study on the Use of Dating Apps in Chile.” This research constitutes a significant contribution to disability studies, allowing for a greater understanding of the experiences of persons with disabilities in social and affective contexts. Furthermore, it promotes broader inclusion of persons with disabilities in digital environments, such as dating applications.
