Mauricio “Cutto” López

Known as Cutto, he is a late-identified autistic person. He is an Audiovisual Director from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and holds a Master’s degree in Film Screenwriting. He has served as a screenwriter for several film and television projects, both in Chile and internationally.

He is a Ph.D. candidate in Psychology and a thesis researcher for Fondecyt Project N°1230262: “The Dreamed Body: A Study on the Corporeal Experience of Trans* and Gender Diverse (TGD) Individuals,” based at the Center for Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy Studies (CEPPS) of Universidad Diego Portales. He collaborates as a Doctoral Student at the Millennium Nucleus for Disability and Citizenship (DISCA), the Millennium Institute for Research on Depression and Personality (MIDAP), and the Millennium Institute for Care Research (MICARE), with the aim of creating conditions that promote leadership and enable the full social and political participation of Persons with Disabilities and gender minorities.
