Richard Quinteros

He is a Professor of Differential Education with a specialization in Intellectual Disability. He holds a Master’s degree in International Human Rights Law, a Diploma in Sexualities, and a Diploma in the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. He also has a Postgraduate degree in Autism Spectrum.

He is a co-founder of the Center for Accompaniment, Support, and Sexual Orientation (CAAOS) Group in Chile. He is also a co-founder and support person for the “Líderes con Mil Capacidades” Organization in Chile, which is comprised of adults with intellectual disabilities. He is a member of the National Network for Comprehensive Sexual Education and the Valparaíso Region Network for Comprehensive Sexual Education.

He currently works at Chilean universities in the Valparaíso Region and the Metropolitan Region. He has participated in various projects concerning cognitive accessibility, sexualities in persons with disabilities/functional diversity, and persons of sexual and gender diversities. He has presented papers at seminars in Chile and at international conferences in different parts of the world.
