Jaime is a policy and international affairs analyst from the Universidad de Santiago de Chile and holds a master’s degree in political science from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He currently teaches at the Universidad de Chile and Alberto Hurtado. His areas of interest are critical disability studies, democratic theory and the phenomena of social inclusion/exclusion.
Jaime is an activist in the movement of people with disabilities. He is the current president of the National Disability Collective (CONADIS). He is also facilitator for Chile of the working group on critical disability studies for the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO).
