Luis has been an activist for the rights of people with disabilities for more than 10 years. Sociologist and graduate in Political Science, he is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Educational Psychology. Since 2018, he coordinates the Support Unit for Functional Diversity at the University of Chile and also develops teaching and research work in this and other Chilean universities.
His lines of research cover the conceptualization of disability, the social movement of disability and the participation of people with disabilities in higher education.
He writes poetry, especially in décima espinela, and enjoys singing and playing the guitar.
