Jaime is an analyst in international policy and affairs from the Universidad de Santiago de Chile and holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Social Sciences at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at the Universidad Diego Portales.
Jaime is an activist for the disability rights movement. He was the president of the National Collective for Disability (CONADIS). He currently serves as the facilitator for Chile for the working group on critical disability studies of the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO).
His areas of interest are critical disability studies, democratic theory, phenomena of social inclusion/exclusion, and comparative politics.
