Esteban is a sociologist and Master’s student in Social Research and Development at the Universidad de Concepción. This year he obtained the ANID National Master’s scholarship and carries out undergraduate teaching activities in the Department of Sociology at the same university.
He is currently a researcher at the Chilean Foundation for Disability, where he has developed studies on political participation, legal capacity and labor inclusion of people with disabilities. He is also methodological coordinator of the Chilean Observatory of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
He is also founder and director of the Coronel Crece Corporation (Corcrece), dedicated to the promotion of integral territorial development in the commune, developing initiatives in education, culture, environment and gender.
His areas of interest are related to public health, disability and quantitative social research methodologies.
