Constanza is a journalist and holds a degree in Social Communication from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso. She holds a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies from the Faculty of Humanities and Education at the University of Valparaíso. She served as a postdoctoral researcher at the Millennium Institute for Care Research (MICARE) between 2024 and 2026. From August 2026 to August 2028, she will conduct postdoctoral research at University College London through a Becas Chile scholarship. Both studies focus on the sexual and reproductive autonomy of people with intellectual disabilities from a gender perspective, using qualitative and inclusive methodologies. Since 2019, she has been an adjunct professor at various universities, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in gender studies (PUCV, UVM), social theories of disability (UDP, UVM, UOC), social research methodologies (UDLA), and semiotics of the image (PUCV).
