Lawyer and holds a degree in Legal Sciences from the Catholic University of the North, and a PhD in Law from the Catholic University of Valparaíso. She has worked as a professor at the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences of the Diego Portales University since 2024. Her teaching focuses on various areas of public law. Her research centers on the constitutionality and/or adequacy to international human rights law standards of evidence-based regulatory techniques. She has also researched the fundamental rights of vulnerable groups, such as women, persons with disabilities, and people living with HIV.
She is the principal investigator of Regular Project N° 1240227, “The conditionality of the social assistance system under the rights-based approach: analysis in light of the principles of universality, indivisibility, and equality and non-discrimination,” and the correspondent for Chile at the Max-Planck-Institut für Sozialrecht und Sozialpolitik.
