PhD in Social Sciences and Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Buenos Aires. Researcher at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET) and the Gino Germani Research Institute (IIGG). Member of the Health and Population Area of the IIGG. She specializes in the area of social studies in disability. In her doctoral thesis, she investigated the body, rehabilitation, and family care. In her postdoctoral training, during research stays at the University of Granada, the University of Almería, and the Rio de Janeiro State University, she worked on public policies and the rights and care perspective in disability. She continues to research care, vulnerability, and dependence. She is the author of “La trama social de la discapacidad: cuerpo, redes familiares y vida cotidiana” (The Social Fabric of Disability: Body, Family Networks, and Daily Life) and coordinator of “El acceso a la salud de la población con discapacidad en Argentina: demandas, barreras y derechos” (Access to Health for the Population with Disabilities in Argentina: Demands, Barriers, and Rights), among other scientific writings. She teaches at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
