Romina Zamorano

Degree in Sociology from the Diego Portales University. In 2025, he joined the Núcleo Milenio Disca, after developing his undergraduate thesis on one of the lines: sexuality and reproduction of the Núcleo. His research entitled Transition to Adulthood for Young People with Disabilities: “Challenges of Being an Adult.” This study examines the challenges faced by young people with disabilities and their families during the transition to adulthood. The research seeks to make visible a reality often silenced and that remains in the private sphere.

Currently holds the position of intern at DISCA.

Throughout my career, I have participated in some activities, such as my first intervention in my first year of university and I did a FANZINE: Theoretical Skills Workshop, as well as a sociological journal: Stories from the street (“The end of the world”), both from the UDP Laboratory of Social Transformations.
